Audrey Unger, now in her early thirties and on the brink of a mid-life crisis, hasn’t laid eyes on her father since she was eleven. Audrey decides to seek him out, to understand his gambling compulsion and why he chose to leave her. Big Louie, an agoraphobic giant who hasn’t left his apartment in over three years, is her gateway to her father’s world. Despite his own fears, he embarks on a journey with Audrey to help her understand the intricacies of professional poker and the excitement of high-stakes gambling. This journey culminates in a final poker hand that alters their lives forever.
